Chrome – disable notifications from a site accepted earlier

In case you have accepted to get notifications from a site, it can be disabled later. These are the steps

  1. Click on Chrome settings from menu
    chrome-menu-settings

  2. Click advanced settings
    chrome-settings-show-advanced-settings

  3. Click content settings under Privacy
    chrome-privacy-content-settings

  4. Scroll down to notifications section and click on manage exceptions
    chrome-settings-notifications-manage-exceptions

  5. Delete the “allow” entry for the desired site to stop receiving exceptions from that site.
