Chrome – remove an accepted certificate

Steps to remove an accepted certificate (e.g. a self signed certificate) from Chrome browser.

  1. Click on Chrome settings.
    chrome-menu-settings

  2. On settings page click on advanced settings
    chrome-settings-show-advanced-settings

  3. Click on SSL/HTTPS.
    chrome-settings-https-ssl

  4. On Mac this will open keychain access with my certificates windows. Right click on the certificate you want to remove and delete it.
    mac-keychain-mycertificates

    On Window a window with personal certificates is opened. Select the certificate you want to remove and click Remove button to remove it.
