Mac – show volume icon on menu bar

To show volume icon on Mac top menu bar follow these steps:

  1. Open system preferences by using spoltlight search.
    mac-spotlight-system-preferences

  2. Click on sound icon
    mac-system-preferences-sound

  3. Select sound effects and slect checkbox “show volume in menubar”
    mac-sound-effects-preferences

  4. The volume icon will now appear in top menu bar as shown below
    mac-volume-icon-in-menu-bar
